Project Vision

The Belvedere project aims to transform the central panoramic terrace into an elegant meeting place where residents and guests can relax, enjoy the landscape and spend quality time together.

The Belvedere terrace is the central and most representative outdoor space of Residence Girasole. It serves as the main passage to the swimming pool and offers one of the most beautiful panoramic views of the surrounding Tuscan landscape. Despite its exceptional location, the area is currently underutilized and does not fully reflect its potential as a welcoming social and relaxation space.

Objectives

Create an attractive and functional panoramic area for residents and guests while preserving the authentic character of the residence. The project aims to improve comfort, encourage social interaction, increase the value of the property and strengthen the overall identity of Residence Girasole.

Master Plan

🏓 Sports & Community Zone

The western section of the Belvedere terrace, facing the parking area, is designed as a multifunctional recreational space. The centrepiece is a permanent outdoor concrete table tennis table that can be used throughout the year without seasonal storage.

Beyond table tennis, the table will also serve as a gathering point for residents during social events, board games and informal meetings.

A lockable storage cabinet with an open community library will provide equipment and shared resources, including:

• Table tennis bats and balls

• Pétanque and bocce equipment

• Board and card games

• Books

• Tourist guides

This area is intended to strengthen the community spirit of Residence Girasole while offering additional leisure opportunities for residents and guests.

🌅 Panoramic Relaxation Zone

The eastern part of the terrace, overlooking the swimming pool and the Tuscan landscape, is designed as a peaceful relaxation area.

Its central feature will be a designer swing for two people, positioned to maximise the panoramic view. A comfortable lounge seating area with a coffee table will provide an ideal place for reading, conversation and enjoying the sunset.

The Mediterranean atmosphere will be enhanced by:

• Large terracotta pots with olive trees, lavender and rosemary

• Elegant Mediterranean decorative elements

• Warm evening lighting creating a welcoming ambience

The proposal transforms the Belvedere terrace into a multifunctional panoramic area combining relaxation, social interaction and recreation. The design preserves the traditional Tuscan character while introducing modern and practical elements that improve everyday use for residents and guests.
